Free tractor mod for Stardew Valley

The Tractor is a free mod made for Stardew Valley, a role-playing game where you can farm, mine, and craft. It gives you a tractor that automatically tills, sows, waters, and harvests your crops when you ride it on your fields. Without the mod, you would have to tend to the crops tile by tile. On the other hand, with this mod you can save considerable time and effort, making your gameplay efficient.

What does the tractor do?

In the unmodded version of Stardew Valley, you have to till, sow, water, and harvest tile by tile. Upon that, you also have to clear out rocks and wild grass. All of these together take up so much of your time and effort. When you use the Tractor mod, you can do all of these tasks in much less time, farming and clearing get so much easier and faster.  It almost feels like you’re cheating. 

Modifying the tractor with tools

You can do different tasks with various tools on the tractor. For example, with a hoe equipped, you can till the dirt and clear weeds, fertilizers fertilize trees and crops, etc. There are ten tractor attachments to do various functions. There are also five other tools that are initially disabled. Some of them include the ax, which can chop trees and bushes, a pickaxe that breaks paths and flooring, etc. 

Overpowered tools

As it is, the Tractor Mod makes the game a lot easier and faster. Some tool attachments like slingshots and melee weapons can make you feel overpowered. The slingshot can fire nine projectiles every second, and the melee attachment will mow down any enemies in your way. It tilts the game to feel one-sided. 

That said, the tractor is a bit hard to archieve. You have to first have access to the carpenter. The tractor garage needs 150,000 gold, 20 Iron bars, 5 Iridium bars, and 5 battery packs.

A good harvest

The Tractor Mod is a great addition to the Stardew Valley game. With this free mod, you can enjoy Stardew Valley without being frustrated about the time and energy you put into your crops and grow them much bigger. While overpowered at times, you can disable some tools to get a balanced gameplay. The benefits it reaps are balanced by the hefty cost of the tractor garage.
